University graduates Research Ethics and Integrity policy

BGS adheres to the NERC Ethics Policy. We are currently finalising a new BGS Research Ethics and Research Integrity Policy (and the associated procedures), that aligns with this policy, and supports BGS as our work grows and becomes more diverse. All those involved with research or research-related activities have a responsibility to consider how their work impacts on the research community and on wider society, working to 'do no harm'. Research ethics and research integrity procedures will help to ensure research is conducted and disseminated in a manner that respects the dignity, rights and welfare of all those involved (whether they are participants, third parties or BGS staff) and to promote high ethical standards.
